Mission Australia has characterised the Federal Government’s 2013 Budget as “swings and roundabouts” with missed opportunities scattered among the positive initiatives. Mission Australia’s CEO, Toby Hall, said the government deserved congratulation on major initiatives such as the NDIS and Gonski education reforms but had left untouched many other areas needing serious action.
